The Seneca Dragon Claw just got even better with some big-time power upgrades, introducing the Dragon Claw II! This timeless classic boasts even more power, featuring a 100+ FPE increase without compromising ease of use. This rifle can humanely and quickly take out whitetail deer, feral hogs, javelinas, coyotes, foxes, nutria, possums, woodchucks, raccoons and similar-sized animals. Checkout our interactive airgun hunting map to see what's legal in your state.
The Dragon Claw II is a very versatile air rifle. You can choose between shooting either lead ammo or air bolts. The rifled barrel makes the air bolts deadly accurate, and sending the 430 grain bolts at speeds over 600 FPS means they will be unstoppable, even on the largest game.
Because this gun has two large air reservoirs, you have the luxury of getting plenty of shots from a fill while you’re out hunting. And the Dragon Claw II is easily filled to 3000 PSI via the female quick disconnect fitting on the bottom air reservoir.
How many shots will you get from your 500cc Dragon Claw II? Our tech team tested with 177 grain round ball ammo and 336 grain flat nose slugs, from a full 3000 PSI fill. With round balls, you can expect peak velocities around 850-860 FPS, remaining above 800 FPS for 4-5 shots. Velocities should be above 700 FPS for 8-9 shots. With the heavier 336 grain slugs, shooters can expect 3-4 shots above 300 FPE, with velocities peaking at around 665-675 FPS. These numbers will vary slightly from rifle to rifle, but you can see that there’s a huge increase in power and velocity compared to the original Dragon Claw. And with Airbolts, you can expect speeds at or just over 600 FPS, which makes the Dragon Claw II one of the fastest arrow slingers on the planet!

I bought this gun for my son’s birthday. He had been bothering me about it for so long and I finally gave in. Boy, am I glad I did! He was over the moon when he turned it on. We went out to the backyard and spent the entire afternoon target shooting. The gun is very easy to use, even for a beginner like him. The only minor downside is that the safety mechanism could be more intuitive. But overall, this has been a great gift for both of us for a long time.

That’s so heartwarming to hear! It’s great that your son was pleased with his birthday present and that you both had a great time. Regarding the safety mechanism, perhaps you could provide some additional instructions to make it easier for him to understand. 😊
